Original accumulation and neoliberalism in Chile

Abstract

The text presents the Marxianan notion of «original accumulation», arguing that it does not refer only to a historical moment that belongs to the past, but that it is presented as the condition of possibility of capital, as a fundamental mode that organizes production and accumulation capitalist, both as the mode of reproduction disposition of social relations in commoditie mode. Violent accumulation that, by its executive force, has reorganized in each crisis of capital the new conditions of (re)production and servitude. Then he relate the original accumulation to capitalism in its neoliberal mode, tracing coordinates in the colonial Chile of Pedro de Valdivia and the neoliberal Chile that exploded with the revolt of October 2019.
